Kata Steve Wozniak Soal Perbedaan Steve Jobs dan Bill Gates

 

Selain mengenal dengan dekat sosok mendiang Steve Jobs, Co-founder Apple, Steve Wozniak juga mengenal betul pendiri Microsoft yaitu Bill Gates mengingat pembesut komputer Windows tersebut adalah pesaing sekaligus mitra Apple. Lantas bagaimana pendapat Steve Wozniak soal perbedaan utama Steve Jobs dan Bill Gates?
Sebagaimana dilansir Business Insider dalam konferensi pers suatu program terbaru National Geographic Channel berjudul “American Genius: Jobs vs. Gates”, Steve Wozniak menyatakan bahwa Steve Jobs memiliki visi masa depan. Sedangkan, Bill Gates memiliki kemampuan membuat perusahaan, produk, dan keuntungan dalam jangka pendek.
Visi yang dimiliki oleh Steve Jobs itulah yang dikatakan Steve Wozniak patut dimiliki banyak orang. Dengan catatan, kamu tidak melompat-lompat dari membuat satu produk ke produk lainya yang harganya tak sepadan dari kemampuannya.

“Steve Jobs [has] a very futuristic forward vision, almost a bit of the science fiction, ‘Here’s what life could be,’ but Bill Gates had more of an execution ability to build the things that are needed now, to build a company now, make the profits now, in the short-term,” Wozniak explained. “I think that was the biggest difference between them.”
“You really need the vision like Steve Jobs had, but the vision doesn’t go anywhere if you try to jump in and build products before they are cost effective for what they do, return on investment is there,” he said. “It was during the time of the Macintosh that the world market grew 10 times and Apple did not go up with it.”
